Lord, thank you that you are a stronghold in times of trouble. Though the world may come against us and beat us down, you Lord will never fail. May we stand steadfast and courageous in you.
In the midst of turmoil may we cling to you and your truth. You have given us your Word to light our way and your Spirit to guide us along your path. May we see you clearly and not be distracted by the chaos and lies that whirl around us. May we stand courageous and steadfast in your truth.
May we love with your love those who want to tear down and destroy. May we have your compassion for those who walk in darkness and don’t even know it. May we be faithful to represent you when the world wants to shut you out and deny your existence.
Lord, may we recognize that our purpose is to glorify you and to draw others to you. May your love grow in us so that no matter what others do, we are faithful to respond rightly. May people see that you dwell in us and that we belong to you.
Lord, we recognize that our being faithful and courageous depends totally upon our being one with you. On our own we are weak and unstable, but your Spirit in us strengthens us to be what you desire us to be. Fill us Lord we pray so others see you in us.
Thank you for being our Rock and that we can cling to you and not be afraid. Thank you that you are unchanging and that we can rely on you in all circumstances. May our eyes always look up to you and focus on your character, not the circumstances surrounding us.
