Lord, thank you that you are faithful to your promises. Thank you that you speak what is true and right and good. Thank you that there is no evil in you and that those who follow in your way will be blessed.
Thank you that your face is towards those who do good and your blessing upon those who acknowledge you. Lord, may we remember you in all the moments of our lives and lift our eyes up to you. Lord, may your name be upon our lips and may our praise bring glory to you.
Lord, in the turmoil of this world may we never fail to look upon you and remember your goodness. May we not put our trust in people and the things of this world, but in the Holy One who exists above and beyond his creation. May we remember that we and the things of this world are fleeting and will pass away, but you, the God of the Universe, will endure forever.
Lord, help us to understand that only what is of you has enduring value. Though everything around us may crumble and fall, you remain steadfast and will never change. Let us fix our eyes on you, the author and sustainer of our faith.
Lord, reveal to us where we are trusting in the things of this world, rather than you who has created it. Help us to see that you are the one who sustains your creation. Apart from your sustaining grace, it would all fall apart. Thank you that we can rely on your faithfulness to do what is right and good.
Lord, thank you that when we pass from this world we can dwell in your holy presence forever. Thank you that we have a future hope because of your love and kindness towards us. Let us be mindful that our restoration to you came at a great price. May our hearts be full of gratitude for the redemption that came to us through your sacrifice. May your name be lifted high O Lord.
