Lord Jesus, thank you for Friendship. Thank you for creating us relational. I praise you for the people you have blessed me with in my life. So many friends have come alongside me to love, support, and encourage me through all of life’s difficulties. Thank you for placing so many wise people in all of our paths.
I pray that you would continue pulling us all toward a deeper community with one another. God help us be patient with our friends. I pray that in this trying and difficult time in our country that you would help heal any places of brokenness or discord in our friendships. I pray that broken friendships would be mended with the help of your holy spirit. May we seek you and what you desire before anything else in this world.
Thank you, that iron sharpens iron. Thank you for all the people who challenge us to seek you in all aspects of life. I thank you for all of our friends who are unbelievers. I thank you for the opportunity you place before us to be an example. May our unbelieving friends come to know you and may we be agents of truth, compassion, kindness and self-sacrifice. I pray that in all our friendships we show the true nature of who you are as we live out your truth. Lord thank you for being the greatest friend, no matter how wretched we are you see a masterpiece and always love us and desire what is best for us. May we strive to more like you in our friendships.
